CBY Project Partners Gather in Marrakech for Mid-Term Evaluation Meeting
From October 31 to November 2, 2025, partners of the CBY – Generative AI, Youth Sector & Impact Project met in Marrakech, Morocco, for a key mid-term evaluation meeting. This gathering marked an important milestone in the project’s lifecycle, providing an opportunity to reflect on achievements from the first year of implementation and to shape the direction of the upcoming phase.
Over the course of three intensive days, partners reviewed both the technical progress and the educational impact of the project. A central focus of the discussions was the development of the project’s AI-based application, designed to combat hate speech while promoting digital education and ethical awareness among young people.
The meeting also highlighted the success of the project’s international mobility activities carried out in Tunisia and France. These mobilities played a crucial role in strengthening participants’ digital, intercultural, and critical thinking skills, while fostering meaningful exchanges between young people from different backgrounds.
In addition, partners analyzed collected data and reviewed the project’s outputs to date, identifying strengths as well as areas for improvement. These discussions allowed the consortium to refine its strategies and ensure alignment with the project’s objectives and Erasmus+ quality standards.
The mid-term evaluation meeting was further enriched by the presence of Ms. Arantza Uriarte Iraola, Project Officer, and Ms. Lene Mejer, Deputy Head of Unit A5. Their insights, feedback, and encouragement provided valuable guidance and reinforced the project’s strategic vision.
As the CBY project moves forward, it continues to innovate at the intersection of generative AI, youth empowerment, and digital ethics, creating meaningful tools and learning experiences that equip young people to engage critically and responsibly in the digital world.
